Do THINSCAPE countertops scratch, chip or crack?
THINSCAPE Performance Tops are engineered with a high-pressure laminate core that provides excellent resistance to everyday scratches and chips.
While no countertop surface is completely scratch-proof, THINSCAPE is designed to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
Its durable finish also makes it easier to fabricate than porcelain counters.
As with any countertop, we recommend using a cutting board and avoiding dragging heavy or sharp objects directly across the surface.
Are THINSCAPE countertops food safe?

Is maintenance easy on THINSCAPE countertops?
Worry less about spills or messes and more about your creative vision with this low maintenance, stain-resistant material.
Everyday cleaning of our products is as simple as a quick wipe with a damp sponge. All resist muddy fingerprints, coffee spills and so much more.
To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or sponge and a mild soap or detergent. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and wipe dry.
Difficult stains such as coffee or tea can be removed using a mild household cleaner/detergent and a soft bristled brush, repeating as necessary.
If a stain persists, use a paste of baking soda and water and apply with a soft bristled brush. Light scrubbing for 10 to 20 strokes should remove most stains. Although baking soda is a low abrasive, excessive scrubbing or exerting too much force could damage the decorative surface.
Is THINSCAPE better than regular laminate?
Both are great options, but the key difference is the edge.
Traditional laminate shows a dark line at the edge where the laminate meets the board underneath.
THINSCAPE is a solid composite slab with a colour-matched core all the way through, so the edge looks clean and seamless, similar to stone.
