Will there be a seam in my laminate countertop?
Seams will depend on your surface layout and whether or not you select a post-form countertop.
Our experienced fabricators take care to place seams in the least visible locations and use colour-matched biscuit strips to minimise their appearance.
During your consultation, we’ll walk you through exactly where any seams would fall in your specific kitchen or space.

Care, Maintenance & Warranty
Clean your laminate countertops with a clean, damp nonabrasive cloth and a mild liquid detergent or soap.
Rinse with clean water , using a clean, non abrasive cotton cloth.
Do not flood the surface of the laminate, especially near seams as water can penetrate them and cause the substrate to swell.
Dry surface with a clean, soft and non-abrasive cloth.
Place a hot pad or trivet under hot pot and pans.
Laminate is made from paper and burns under heat. If burnt, it cannot be repaired.
Use a cutting board under knives.
If laminate is scratched, it cannot be repaired, so protect it from knives and sharp edges.
Preventing Water Damage to Laminate Countertops
Water damage can occur if water is allowed to pool, especially around seams and mitre joints, leading to swelling that is permanent and not covered under warranty. To protect your laminate countertops, avoid standing water, use a non-abrasive cloth for cleaning, and refrain from placing steam-generating appliances near seams.
Use mild cleaners and sponges.
Abrasive cleaners can damage laminate. Use mild cleaners and non-scratch sponges.
